Product Description
Envirograf Fireproof sponge is impregnated and coated with an intumescent material. Very flexible, but stable in small or large apertures. Unaffected by water or chemicals. Supplied in sheets or strips from 10mm to 100mm thick. Can be cut to size.
Application
For small or large expansion/movement joints, under raised computer floors, between glass screen walls (rainscreens, with or without ventilation) and concrete floors, and between metal cladding and concrete. Between modular buildings on top of each other.
The sponge is easily cut to size and compressed to fit into small apertures. The sponge is simply pushed into place where required to protect gaps and openings.
A non-fibrous sponge which will expand around cables and services in a fire giving a smoke/gas and fire seal.

Product Performance
Tested to BS476 Part 22 (1987) achieving 138 minutes integrity. Also tested at VNE to European Standard EN1363-1 (2000).
