Hensel Beton-Carbonsperre Anti-Carbonation Coating is a protective coating with excellent hiding power for use as a primer before applying Hensel Hensotherm 820 KS fire protection coatings on structural elements of concrete, and for concrete renovation.

Product Performance

Before application of Hensel Beton-Carbonsperre, damaged concrete surfaces must be repaired, therefore pay attention to the technical data sheets of Hensel Hensotherm 820 KS and Hensel Hensomastik B 3000Recommended coverage rate: 2 x 140 g/m² - (100μm wet film thickness, 40μm dry film thickness)Drying time 24hrs per coatOptional Coverage: 1 x 280 g/m² - (200µm wet film thickness - 80µm dry film thickness)Please Note: Drying time will be a minimum 48hrs when applied as above in one thicker coatPlease Note: Do not apply the fire protection coating before Hensel Beton-Carbonsperre is completely dried - subject to a positive fingernail test
