Product Description
Stopseal LJS High-Performance Linear Joint Sealing System
Designed to reinstate the fire resistance of wall and floor constructions. It utilises an intumescent thermoplastic core filled with flame retardants and binders, encased in an elastomeric foam that allows for movement and acoustic insulation.
Applications
This product is ideal for:
Reinstating fire resistance in rigid walls and rigid floors.Sealing linear joints in construction.Applications requiring fire classifications up to E 240 and EI 120, depending on joint width and substrate type.Do not use Stopseal LJS in areas subject to constant water immersion, or on surfaces that emit oils, solvents, or plasticizers.

Installation Guidance
FSi Ltd. recommends installation by certified professionals. Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free from dust or loose particles. Stopseal LJS does not require a primer on most surfaces; however, adhesion tests are recommended. Select the appropriate product size for the joint width and ensure a snug fit by compressing and sliding the material into place. Abutting lengths should fit tightly to avoid gaps.
Do not install this product on joints exceeding 100mm in width. Always follow the downloadable technical data sheet for detailed installation instructions.
Handling, Storage, and Disposal
Store Stopseal LJS in a cool, dry environment between +5°C and +35°C, away from direct sunlight. Follow safe handling procedures and refer to the SDS for guidance on storage and disposal. Dispose of the product in accordance with licensed collector requirements, avoiding dust formation.
