Envirograf Gas Flue Inspection Hatch

Product Description

The Envirograf Gas Flue Inspection Hatch is a fire-rated access panel with a a spring-loaded latch fastener. The access panel has a fire protection lining with intumescent fire/smoke seals and can be installed in walls or ceilings, horizontally or vertically.

The door can be removed for complete viewing inside, and the internal lock latch system, which is durable and hidden from view, is easily opened with a 2p or 10p coin for easy access. An insulated version of the hatch provides acoustic protection, and the hatch comes powder coated in white but can be easily painted over with emulsion to match existing decor. RAL colours can be made to order.

On Buildings that were built after 2000 where gas flues and other services are passing through plaster board ducting through rooms to vent on outside walls, Gas and Building Regulations now require fire rated access panels in order to view the joints and the fixing of pipes.
